Honda recently launched the Shine 100 in India as the brand’s only competitor to the TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor and Bajaj Platina. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 64,900, ex-showroom and is being offered in a choice of five colour options.
You have the option to choose from black with blue graphics, black with red graphics, black with gold highlights, black with grey graphics and black with blue graphics as well. As for its styling, the motorcycle comes with traditional commuter styling with clean and simple lines all through its bodywork. It gets a single-piece seat, black headlamp cowl that matches the rest of the body panels and black five-spoke alloy wheels.
Underneath, the bodywork and tubular frame is a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 7.61bhp and 8.05Nm. It comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. When it comes to features, the Shine 100 gets a halogen headlamp with bulb turn indicators, a twin-pod instrument console, a side-stand sensor and Combined Braking System as standard.
