Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the Hero Splendor-rivalling Shine 100 in our market. This commuter-segment motorcycle is available in a single variant and five colour options. Previously, we brought you all the details about this motorcycle along with its detailed first ride review. Among the cities listed above, the Honda Shine is the most affordable in Chandigarh, while Bangalore has the highest on-road price tag. The company had announced that the dispatches for this commuter motorcycle have commenced from its Karnataka-based factory.
To give you a quick recap, the newly launched Honda Shine 100 draws styling cues from the company’s highest-selling 125cc motorcycle, the CB Shine 125. The former is powered by a 98.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that delivers 7.61bhp and a peak torque of 8.05Nm. This commuter-segment product from the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer rivals the likes of the Hero Splendor, Bajaj Platina, and TVS Radeon in our market.
