Honda Shine 100 Styling and Colours
The Honda Shine 100 adorns a traditional commuter styling with simple lines and rather plain looking bodywork. It comes with a single-piece seat, black headlamp cowl and black five-spoke alloy wheels. Honda is offering the motorcycle in a choice of five colour options. There is black with red graphics, black with blue graphics, black with gold highlights, black with blue graphics and black with grey graphics as well.
Honda Shine 100 Engine and Specs
Honda has plonked in a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that puts out 7.61bhp and 8.05Nm. This motor is placed in a tubular frame and is mated to a four-speed gearbox. That said, the Shine 100’s motor is OBD-2 compliant (onboard diagnostics), and can monitor real-time emissions.
Honda Shine 100 Features
Like most commuters in the segment, the Honda Shine 100 is simple in its approach when it comes to features. It gets a halogen headlamp with bulb turn indicators, a twin-pod instrument console with a speedometer, odometer, and fuel level gauge. In addition to this, Honda has also equipped the Shine 100 with a side-stand sensor and Combined Braking System.

To keep things simple, the Shine 100 rides on telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties are performed by drum brakes at both ends mounted on the five-spoke alloy wheels that come wrapped in road-biased tyres.

The Honda Shine 100 rivals the Hero Splendor, TVS Radeon and Bajaj Platina as well and comes with a pricing on par with the rest. It costs Rs 64,900, ex-showroom. Bookings for the motorcycle have commenced with deliveries expected to begin in the next two months.
