Honda has launched the Shine Celebration Edition in India at Rs 78,878 (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards. The bike is available in both drum and disc variants, but the prices for the latter are yet to be revealed. The Celebration Edition drum brake model costs Rs 1,500 more than the standard drum model.
The new Honda Shine Celebration Edition features gold-coloured accents on the headlight cowl, fuel tank and side panels. Even the Honda badge is coloured in Gold and so is the Shine sticker at the rear. The Celebration Edition also gets a brown seat cover. Honda is offering the new edition in two colours: Matte Steel Black Metallic and Matte Sangria Red Metallic.
It’s powered by the same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor as the standard model. The power figures are 10.59bhp and 11Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and nestled in a diamond-type frame. The suspension setup for the Honda Shine comprises telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. Meanwhile, the braking hardware gives you a front disc/drum option along with a rear drum brake.
Honda Shine is one of the most popular commuter motorcycles you can buy today in India. Its frugal performance paired with the lightweight and trusty build makes it a commendable offering for Indian roads.
