Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the all-new SP160 premium commuter in the country, priced at Rs. 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in two variants, and each trim is offered with six colour options.

The six paint schemes include Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Dark Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Spartan Red, and Pearl Deep Ground Gray. While the single-disc variant costs Rs. 1.17 lakh, the dual-disc version is priced at Rs. 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom).
Honda SP160 engine specifications
The SP160 is powered by the same 162.71cc, single-cylinder motor that powers the Honda Unicorn. It produces 13.2bhp at 7,500rpm and 14.58Nm at 5,500rpm. The motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

As for its features and equipment list goes, the Honda SP160 comes loaded with a LED headlamp and taillight, a single-channel ABS, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and halogen indicators. The instrument cluster displays a side stand indicator, gear position indicator, average fuel consumption reading, as well as a fuel level readout.

The new Honda SP160 rides on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. It gets its braking power from a 276mm front disc, while the rear gets either a 130mm drum or a 220mm disc, depending on the variant you choose.
