A teaser video of the upcoming Honda CBR250RR has been released on the internet. The interesting bit here is, the video has been uploaded to a bike channel and contains details of the Indonesia partner.
Since the last couple of months, we’ve been reporting about this new quarter-litre motorcycle from Honda that’ll compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha R3 and even the KTM RC390. It’s clear from the video that the design element from the Light Weight Super Sports Concept is carried on to the production version, which is a good deal. This has made the bike look super aggressive and will stand out against the competition. The ergonomics will be little aggressive too.
Other features that will be loaded on this quarter-litre bike are upside-down forks, split seats, ABS and a digital instrument cluster. There were rumours about this bike getting ride-by-wire and switchable modes, however, there’s nothing concrete on this yet. This motorcycle is expected to be powered by a new parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that’ll have a power output of around 45bhp.
We’re expecting Honda to officially unveil the motorcycle in the next month or so, followed by a global launch in October. Stay tuned as we get you more details on the new Honda CBR250RR.
