Honda Thailand has silently updated the CBR150R with new colours – a way to keep the motorcycle fresh. The bike is now available in three new dual-tone colours - modish white, double black and iconic red.
The upper half of the CBR150R gets the new colour schemes, that makes it looks sporty and race inspired. The lower half gets the black paint scheme that matches well with all the three new paint schemes. The front apron also gets the two-tone paint scheme which makes it look slightly aggressive. Apart from cosmetic changes, there is nothing new on the motorcycle. It continues to be powered by the same 150cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine that churns out 17.57bhp at 10,5000rpm and maximum torque of12.66Nm at 8,500rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
There is a high chance that the Japanese manufacturer will update the CBR150R in India soon. The bike was launched around two years ago and continued to be sold in the same colours and features. In a competitive 150cc premium segment, the consumer needs fresh looks and styling all the time. And it makes complete sense for the Japanese manufacturer to introduce the same colours in India, this will surely increase the motorcycle’s life cycle.
