Honda’s latest product the Livo motorcycle, will be launched on July 10. This new 110cc motorcycle will be positioned above the Dream commuter series, replacing the CB Twister in the Japanese manufacturer’s line-up.
Previous spy shots have shown that the Livo will get aggressive design cues shedding the conservative styling on the Dream motorcycles. The front gets an edgy bikini fairing and angular headlamps, while the side profile flaunts fibre cowls extending from the fuel tank. The instrument cluster is made of a basic twin pod analogue unit which integrates a speedometer, fuel gauge and an odometer.
Mechanically, the Livo is similar to the Honda Dream, which is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder engine. This air-cooled four-stroke unit delivers 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm of torque through a four-speed transmission. We can expect the Livo to be priced in the Rs 53,000 to Rs 57,000 price bracket. It will rival other premium 110cc motorcycles like the Hero Passion XPro and the Mahindra Centuro.
