- Electric Activa India launch likely in 2024
- Will focus on delivering maximum riding range
- More EV unveils at CES 2024 Show
Honda plans to unveil a range of consumer-centric electric vehicles at the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2024.
The Japanese brand has audacious plans to launch 30 new electric two-wheelers by 2030, and some of the significant products are likely to be unveiled on January 9. The electric Activa is something the brand has been working on for years, and in 2024, it will debut in India. But it makes sense for Honda to have its global unveil at the 2024 CES as it will allow the brand to showcase its expertise in developing mass-market electric scooters.
Currently, there are no details about the electric scooter, but it is believed to carry some design elements of the Activa. Regarding powertrain and battery, this e-Activa will likely focus on delivering maximum range rather than going big in acceleration and top speed. Honda would like to get volumes from Activa electric as that is the company's forte.
