Honda’s plans to unveil new Cub concept bikes at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show have been leaked by a Japanese media house. The company will be showcasing three concepts – the Super Cub, 60th anniversary edition and the Cross Cub 110 at the auto show, later this month.
What you see in these pictures is an off-road version of the Cub, called the Cross Cub 110. It features spoke wheels and a headlamp grille to give it a rugged look. It also gets LED headlamps. The rear seat can be removed to convert it into a luggage rack. Honda will also offer different options for the front apron, along with a slew of paint schemes.
The Tokyo Motor Show is Honda’s favourite platform to unveil Cub-based concept bikes. In the past few years, the company has showcased an off-road and an electric motor-powered version of the Cub. Apart from these, we can also expect to see other futuristic Honda concept motorcycles at the auto show.
