Most of the motorcycle concepts which we see are usually powered by big displacement motors. But Honda has developed a concept bike with a small 150cc engine called the 150SS Racer Concept.
This neo-café racer was unveiled recently at the 2017 Bangkok Motor Show. The overall dimensions reminds us of the Honda Grom whereas the design language looks quite similar to the Husqvarna Vitpilen. The sculpted fuel tank, sharp tail section and the aggressive radiator shrouds makes this Japanese bike look outstanding. The design of the underslung exhaust goes well with the overall styling.
The talking point of this concept is its wheels which are massive carbon fibre discs. It gives a nice visual appeal to the motorcycle. Honda hasn’t revealed any details about the power-plant but rumours suggest that it is from the CBR150R.
It is obvious that the production version, if Honda plans to make one, won’t look as good as the 150SS Racer Concept. But if Honda manages to come close to this design, a lot of buyers will be ready with their money.
