- 2021 CB500 range unveiled
- Gets new colours, graphics
Honda has pulled the wraps of its 2021 range of the CB 500 range. This motorcycle series has a total of three bikes –the CB500F – a naked motorcycle, the CB500X – an adventure tourer and finally the CBR500R – a supersport.
For 2021, the Japanese brand didn’t had to do a lot of work to update these motorcycles. Its powerplant – a 471cc parallel twin 47bhp motor managed to get Euro 5 certification without any changes. In order to make these bikes look a bit fresh for the New Year, Honda has played with the paint schemes.
The CB500F gets two new colours - candy moon glow yellow and candy Caribbean blue sea. The red and black options will continue to be on offer. For the CB500X, red, black and white are available but now it has received revised graphics. Also, the subframe is now red. The CBR500R hasn’t received any new updates. No new features or colours.
Honda’s CB500 range looks perfect for a market like India. The design, power output and the brand reach makes it practical for the Indian market. Unfortunately, Honda isn’t focused on bringing this range to India anytime soon.
