- Honda unveils limited edition CB1000R - Gets fancier paint scheme - Only 54 units available
Honda’s UK division has unveiled a special edition of its litre-class motorcycle, the CB1000R. This motorcycle is so special that only 54 units will ever be made and sold in the market. The Japanese brand tied up with Guy Willison, a UK based custom, to design this motorcycle. It is based on the stock CB1000R and gets lots of aesthetic changes. The company hasn’t touched the chassis, engine, gearbox or electronics. The changes are only seen in the styling front.
The main highlight of this bike is the special Honda endurance paint job. Along with this, the company has hand painted the Honda wing logo that can be seen on the fuel tank. The same job can also be seen on the headlamp cowl. The seat is different too. It is hand-stitched and gets a 5Four logo embossed on it.
This special edition is priced at £16,954 (Rs 17.40 lakh) which is quite a bit premium over the standard model.
