- The Super Cub C125 retains the traditional Super Cub silhouette
- Powered by a 125cc fuel-injected 9.5bhp motor
- Will go on sale in Europe in the next few months
Honda has taken wraps off its legendary product, the Super Cub C125. This new scooter has been developed for the ever growing urban buyers who are also style conscious.
This Honda retains the traditional Super Cub silhouette but has got subtle aesthetic additions that makes it more appealing. The headlamp is all LED, the instrument cluster gets a part analogue part digital design. It also gets a keyless smart key system.
The Super Cub C125 is powered by a 125cc air-cooled two-valve fuel-injected engine that produces 9.5bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque of 10.4Nm at 5250rpm. This motor is mated to a four-speed gearbox that is foot-operated and gets an automatic clutch.
The Super Cub C125 will go on sale in Europe first and will be available in two colour options. The company is yet to announce the price, but expect it to be at the affordable end. Unfortunately, the Super Cub C125 won’t come to India anytime soon as the Indian arm is currently focusing on volume growth which won’t come from the Super Cub C125.
