Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have launched their new 150cc motorcycle, the CB Trigger for the Indian market. It is basically a naked version of their fully-faired CBR150R and has been pitted as a rival for the Yamaha FZ series and the TVS RTR.
The CB Trigger is powered by a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled engine which produces 13.81bhp at 8500rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The company claims that this motorcycle has a fuel efficiency of 60kmpl.The motorcycle features a Combi Brake System (CBS) which is first in its class and this feature might help the CB Trigger to take away some sales from Yamaha and TVS.
It also features a digital instrument panel, LED tail lamps and alloy wheels. The motorcycle is available with both disc and drum brake options. Combine Braking System (CBS) is also available as option. The CB Trigger is available in Black, Pearl Siena Red and Meteor Green Metallic.
The bookings for this motorcycle will open from next month. However, HMSI hasn’t announced a price for this motorcycle but has confirmed that it will do so in April once the bookings start. We are expecting the CB Trigger to be priced in the range of Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000.
