Honda has unveiled a new motorcycle for Thailand called, the MSX125. The MSX stands for mini street Xtreme; it is a small-displacement motorcycle that will be made in Thailand.
The MSX125 is powered by 125cc fuel-injected four-stroke engine, which develops power output of 10bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque at 11Nm. The engine is mated to four-speed gearbox and the bike weighs just 100kg.
“It is part mini-bike, part motorcycle, with engaging performance matched to confident handling and styling that combines a sense of fun with a tough, urban edge,” the Honda press release says.
The MSX125 is expected to launch in the second half of 2013. The company claims that they will sell this motorcycle worldwide. However, we doubt it will come to India anytime soon as it is a fuel-injected 125cc motorcycle. Indian market is very price sensitive and the only 125cc injected bike available here is the Honda CBF Stunner FI, which is not doing exceptionally well either.
