Honda has unveiled two new motorcycles for USA which will be a part of their 2014 lineup, the CTX700 and CTX700N. Both the motorcycles will be powered by a 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that powers the NC700 series.
Honda Motorcycles with the new CTX series stands for comfort, technology and experience, offers a laid-back riding position with more forward-set hand controls and foot pegs. Both the motorcycles look like a mixture of cruiser and street. Some of the design cues have been taken from its big brother, Honda Gold Wing F6B.
The CTX series also features the ABS and dual-clutch transmission (DCT). With DCT, the rider can shift gear with push of a handlebar-mounted button. There is also an option to select the automatic mode, where the gears will shift automatically.
The Honda CTX700 and CTX700N motorcycles have been priced at $7799 (Rs 4.18 lakh) and $6999 (Rs 3.75 lakh) respectively. However, for ABS and dual-clutch transmission (DCT) you have to shell out additional $1000 (Rs 54000).
