- New Grom revealed
- Gets new design language
- Is Euro-5 compliant
Honda has pulled the wraps off its coolest two-wheeler – the MSX 125 Grom. This extremely compact motorcycle has always been perceived as a fun bike to ride. But now with its 2021 model, things are just going to get better.
The Japanese maker has revised its entire styling. All the body panels are new which sport a bit of modern retro styling. The fuel tank too, is new and can now hold marginally more fuel than before. The seat is now flatter. The headlamp unit continues to be large but still manages to look quite cool.
When it comes to performance, the 125cc is now Euro-5 compliant. The displacement hasn’t increased nor there’s a decrease in overall power output. The bike continues to make 9.7bhp of peak power at 7250rpm. The gearbox is new though, and now gets five speed.
This Honda will make its showroom debut next March and will see a minute increase in overall price tag. It will be sold in a lot of colours. In fact, the customers have the option to change the body panels too. Grom’s Indian cousin – the Navi was recently discontinued due to its poor sales. But the company could revive the brand in future if there’s a change in market dynamics.
