Honda has unveiled an all new motorcycle, the NM4 Vultus, in Japan. Don’t mistake this bike for a concept, as this futuristic machine-inspired bike is headed for showrooms, claims the Japanese manufacturer.
Vultus stands for expression or face in Latin and the bike has been designed by a young design team. The NM4 Vultus is an extension of Honda’s beginner-centric CTX and NC bike. The bike is powered by a 745cc twin-cylinder engine that has a lower center of gravity and is canted forward. Delivering strong low and mid-range power and torque for smooth acceleration coupled with good fuel economy, it is also equipped as standard with Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), giving the rider options between automatic twist-and-go D and S mode – plus trigger-operated computer game-style manual MT mode.
The overall design of the bike is quite unique and is a mix-up of a maxi-scooter and a bike like Ducati Diavel. It gets LED lights and the LCD dash is very stylish and has the option to change the colour of the backlight. The rider backrest can be adjusted and can be used as a pillion seat. The price has not been announced and honestly, we don’t see it coming cheap.
