- Honda X-Blade BS6 available in a single disc and dual disc variants
- Comes in four colour options with refreshed decals
- Price increased by around Rs 17,000 over the BS4 model
Honda has recently introduced the BS6 model of the X-Blade in India. As opposed to the outgoing BS4 version, which was available only with a front disc, the updated model comes in two trims – single disc and dual disc. The former is priced at Rs 1,06,687 which is a premium of around Rs 17,000 over its BS4 counterpart. Meanwhile, the new dual disc version costs Rs 1,10,968 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The available colour options include four attractive shades – Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic. These paint schemes are accompanied by contrast coloured graphics which look sportier than before. However, the overall design of its bodywork has been retained as it was.
Honda has updated the switchgear of the X-Blade and now it comprises of an engine start-stop switch. Other features include an LED headlamp and tail lamp, a hazard switch and an LCD display which shows plenty of information. Powering the motorcycle is a 162.7cc, air-cooled, single cylinder motor which features fuel-injection now and churns out 13.5bhp and 14.7Nm. While that’s a marginal drop in power, the torque output has gone up as compared to the BS4 iteration.
The next motorcycle from Honda expected to get the BS6 update is the CB Hornet 160R which is likely to receive changes similar to the X-Blade along with a substantial price hike.
