Honda has just revealed their brand new motorcycle, the XBlade. This 160cc stylish commuter motorcycle will be sold alongside the CB Hornet 160R and the CB Unicorn 160.
Honda has focused a lot on making the XBlade as stylish as possible. The overall design cues are on the aggressive side. The sharp sculpted fuel tank, LED headlamp and aggressive tail lamp does the job of making the bike look really cool. The design of the grabrail is quite unique on the XBlade. Even though it’s a sporty motorcycle, the XBlade gets a single seat and not the traditional split seat. The instrument cluster is completely digital. Other than showing typical ride data like speed and trips, it also shows gear position and service due indicator.
The XBlade is powered by Honda’s 162cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 13.93bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 13.9Nm at 6000rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox that transfer power to the rear wheel in one up and four-down shift patterns. The XBlade gets 276mm front disc and 130mm drum brake at the rear. The XBlade tips the scale at 140kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.
Honda says that the pricing of the XBlade will be revealed closer to the official launch which will happen in the first week of March.
