- X-Blade facelift launch soon
- Will get revised graphics
- Launch around festive season
Honda will soon launch the facelifted version of the X-Blade. The bike is ready and will be launched as we get closer to the festive season.
The X-Blade was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, and was launch in March. While the initial months, the market responded decently to the bike. But the sales started to dwindle in the last few months of 2018. According to our sources, the Japanese maker won’t touch the design aspect of the bike. Rather, it would play with the colours. It will bring in some more attractive dual-tone paint schemes to make it look a bit sportier. The company could tweak the fuel tank and the tank shrouds.
Mechanically, there won’t be any changes. The 162cc single-cylinder engine will continue to make 14bhp and peak torque of 13.9Nm. The five-speed gearbox won’t be touched as well. The bike will continue to get a drum brake at the rear, and a disc one at the front. ABS will be standard due to the safety norm.
The X-Blade facelift won’t see any price increase as Honda wants to sell the bike in good numbers. The dealers will be notified about this bike in a month or two.
