Honda has finally launched the X-Blade in the Indian market after unveiling the bike at the 2018 Auto Expo. Priced at Rs 78,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)the bike sports an aggressive design language and is targeted at the youth. However, in that price range you could opt for 16 other bikes and scooters. The X-Blade is based on the same platform as the CB Hornet 160R which is priced at Rs 82,359. Both bikes are powered by a 162cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 13.9bhp and 13.9Nm of torque. Another offering from Honda's stables itself is the CB Unicorn 160. The bike gets flowing lines and a conservative design language.It is powered by a 163cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 14.7bhp and 14.6Nm of torque. The Honda CB Unicorn 160 is priced at Rs 81,940.
Another 160cc bike in this list is the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 priced at Rs 81,626. It uses a 160cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 15.3bhp and 14.6Nm of torque. You coud also opt for the Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF. While the standard Gixxer is a streetfighter, the SF is the full-faired version of the former. Both are powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder motor that delivers 14.6bhpa nd 14Nm of torque. While pricing for the standard Gixxer start at Rs 77,017 the Gixxer SF starts at Rs 84,546.
Coming to the 150cc segment, there is the Yamaha FZ S V2.0 priced at Rs 86,042. The bike is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 13bhp and 12.8Nm of torque. Hero Motocorp offers the Xtreme Sports at Rs 78,226. It uses a 149cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 15.6bhp and 13.5Nm of torque. You could also opt for the Bajaj Pulsar 150 priced at Rs 73,626. The bike is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 15bhp and 12Nm of torque.
Bajaj also offers the bike in a 180cc version called the Bajaj Pulsar 180. It gets a 178cc single-cylinder engine that produces 17bhp and 14Nm of torque. If you want a comfortable city cruiser, there is the Bajaj Avenger Street 180. Powering the bike is a 180cc single-cylinder which puts out 15.3bhp of power and 13.7Nm of torque. The Indian market also offers three scooters in this price range. There is the Aprilia SR150 at Rs 69,802.It gets a 154cc engine that produces 10.25bhp and 11.4Nm of torque.
