- Powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine
- Comes loaded with features
- Could be launched in India
Honda has launched the XL750 Transalp in Italy. The bike has also been launched in other countries in the past few months. We expect Honda to bring the bike here to India as well. Here’s what it has to offer.
The XL750 Transalp’s design is quite similar to the CB500X. It gets an LED headlight with a tall visor above it. The bike’s upright stance is complemented by the wide and upright handlebar. Even the side fairing and the scooped single-piece seat add to the visual appeal of the Honda ADV.
It draws power from a 755cc parallel-twin engine that dishes out 90bhp and 75Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and nestled in a steel diamond-type frame. It rides on Showa USD front forks and a linked rear shock. And the braking hardware comprises twin 310mm front discs and a single 256mm rear disc mounted on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels. Honda has equipped the Transalp with LED illumination, a TFT, a smartphone voice control system, USB charging port, and an optional quickshifter.
Honda has priced the XL750 Transalp at EUR 10,940 (approximately Rs 9.72 lakh sans taxes). It’s available in three colours: Matte Iridium Gray Metallic, Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, and the Ross White Tricolour.
