Honda India recently launched the XL750 Transalp in India. It is priced at Rs. 10,99,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and sits below the Africa Twin in Honda’s ADV line-up. The brand is offering the Transalp in two paint schemes – Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic.
The Ross White theme mainly comprises two colours – white and blue. It gets white as the primary colour all over with blue on the side fairing. The seat cover also gets a darker shade of blue and contrasts with the white. Then, its wheels are coloured in golden further elevating the XL750 Transalp’s visual quotient.
On the other hand, the Matte Ballistic Black Metallic paint covers the entire bike in a single tone of black with red highlights that suit the black paint overall. It gives the Transalp a stealthy look and suits the bike’s muscular structure.
Honda has used a 755cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. It develops 90.5bhp and 75Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The bike features LED illumination, TFT, voice control, ride-by-wire, five riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User), traction control, and ABS for its safety net.
The Honda XL750 is the second biggest ADV in Honda India’s portfolio and it rivals the BMW F850GS, which costs around Rs. 13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
