- Honda ADV 150 Special Edition unveiled
- Gets a unique colour
- Limited to 1000 units
Honda has unveiled a Special Edition for the ADV 150 scooter in Japan. It has been priced at 451,000 yen which converts to around Rs 3 lakh. Interestingly, the cost of the ADV 150 Special Edition is the same as the regular version.
However, to justify its name, the scooter is limited to 1000 units worldwide and comes in a unique colour called Ross White. This paint scheme incorporates white with sporty gray graphics on the front and side panels while the rear end is mostly black. The rest of the Honda ADV 150 is also blacked out. Furthermore, the ‘150’ badging has been done in red to accentuate the scooter's sporty appeal.
Nevertheless, the rest of the scooter remains the same as the regular model. It takes design inspiration from the bigger Honda X-ADV and sports a rugged character with dual-purpose tyres and an upswept exhaust. Powering the ADV 150 is a 149cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 14.5bhp at 8500rpm and 13.8Nm at 6500rpm. It comes mated to a V-Matic gearbox. The Honda ADV 150 is an interesting scooter and we would love to see it in India, although the manufacturer is unlikely to launch it in our country anytime soon.
