Honda recently delivered its 300cc scooter, the Forza 300 in India which was brought to the country for R&D and testing purposes.
While these display units are BS4-compliant and only four units are available in the country currently, Honda has announced that it is likely to launch the Forza 300 in India by 2021. The Forza 300 sports a maxi-scooter styling and comes loaded with creature comforts like an adjustable screen, full-LED lighting, smart key fob and semi-digital instrument cluster. Moreover, the scooter gets HSTC which helps in regaining traction to the rear wheel by calculating the slip ratio and controlling engine torque.
The Forza 300 comes powered by a 279cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that produces 24.8bhp at 7,000rpm and comes mated to a final belt drive. Being a full-sized maxi-scooter, the Forza 300 comes with a large underseat storage that can house two full-face helmets and features a 12V charging socket.
When launched in India, the Forza 300 is expected to cost somewhere around Rs 2.5 lakhs to Rs 3.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
