Honda's Dream Series crosses 10 lakh units sales milestone

Honda announced that their Dream series of motorcycles have crossed 10 lakh units sales. As a celebration, the company has announced a ‘One Million Dream’ offer for new customers.

Prospective buyers will get free insurance and different finance options including a scheme of up to 100 per cent loan to value. However, this offer is valid only on the Dream Yuga and Dream Neo motorcycles for a limited period till the end of this month.

With this landmark achievement, the 100-110cc motorcycle segment has become the fastest growing segment for Honda. The great demand for the Dream series has helped the company achieve the milestone in a short span of 26 months. The manufacturer's share in the 100-110cc segment has also increased tremendously.

Ltd. said, “To enter the New Era of Honda two-wheelers in India complemented by such a landmark is very special to us. With our increased network in rural India, we are confident Dream Series shall further expand its wings especially with our latest addition ‘CD 110 Dream’.”

It was in 2012 when Honda, for the first time, took a big step towards mass mobility in India with the Dream Yuga. The motorcycle got regular value additions and the Honda Eco Technology (HET) that it came equipped with received acceptance. The company then introduced the 110cc Dream Neo in April last year which was recently followed by the most affordable motorcycle from Honda, in India - the CD 110 Dream. All of this was a part of  the company's strategic expansion which has proved successful for the manufacturer.
