Honda’s final product of 2015 could replace the Stunner

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India teased their 15th product, which is the final product of their ’15 in 15’ launch initiative at the RevFest which was organised in eight different cities. While only few selected pictures were teased, we believe that this upcoming motorcycle will replace the CBF Stunner.

The Japanese manufacturer has updated majority of its mass market two-wheeler line-up, except the CBF Stunner, which has not been doing well over the last couple of months. While the Stunner has been the best looking motorcycle in the segment, it came with its own set of problems. Some customers complained of the fairing rattling after few months of ownership whereas few of them found it difficult to park the bike in public parking spot due to the fairing design. The fairing would either crack or break in case of wrong handling. The fairing of the CBF Stunner is a two piece component and in case of damage, the entire part needs to be replaced.

In order to attract more buyers to this product, the Japanese manufacturer launched the fuel-injected version of the CBF Stunner, which also failed to entice the market due to its expensive price tag. During the RevFest, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer mentioned that with this new 125cc motorcycle, it plans to target the officer goers. The teaser pictures show that the upcoming 125cc bike looks more stylish than the CB Shine which is the highest selling bike in the segment. This new bike will get curvier lines all across the body, a new instrument console and front disc brake as optional.

There are rumours that this bike will get a new 125cc engine, but let’s wait and see if the bike will continue to be powered by the same proven 125cc engine.  Honda will launch this bike by the end of the current calendar year and will demand a premium price over the CB Shine.

Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the upcoming Honda 125cc motorcycle.
