- 2023 Honda CB300R recently launched in India
- Gets two colour options
- Powered by a 286cc, single-cylinder engine
Honda recently launched the 2023 CB300R in India at Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom which is Rs 37,000 cheaper than the previous model. The motorcycle is being offered in two colour options in the country.
To begin with, there is the Pearl Spartan Red that is teamed with black on most of its bodywork excluding the fuel tank. Components like the frame, wheels, seat and engine are also done up in black. Other than this you can also have the Honda CB300R in Matte Massive Grey Metallic which is also combined with black. Both colour options come with gold ‘CB’ graphics on the radiator guard.
That said, the Honda CB300R receives the latest BS6 OBD2 emission norms. But that is the only change on the 2023 model. It continues a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30.7bhp and 27.5Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a diamond-type chassis, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 41mm USD forks and a monoshock. Braking is done by a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Feature list on the CB300R includes a full-LED lighting system, LCD console, assist and slipper clutch, emergency stop signal and hazard light switch.
Honda has priced the 2023 CB300R at Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom which is Rs 37,000 lesser than the previous model. It competes against the KTM 390 and 250 Duke, BMW G310 R, and Keeway K300 N, as well as the TVS Apache RTR 310.
