A couple of days ago, we brought you the details of Honda’s upcoming commuter bike which the company claims is a revolutionary model. But from what we’ve learned, it’s a new commuter bike with the start-stop system.
Now the Japanese manufacturer has started teasing this bike on social media channels under the name NAVi. Honda has uploaded a new cover picture on their Facebook account which says “Happy NAVi year”. While we liked Honda’s creativity, it is a very interesting way to reveal their new product. The Japanese manufacturer has created a dedicated page on their official website too. In fact, they went on to say “Here to change the way India plays with two wheels”, followed by the invitation to check it out at the Auto Expo Hall No 6.
As per our source, this new motorcycle will feature the start-stop system, which will increase the overall fuel efficiency. The same feature is seen on the Hero Splendor iSmart, but the one on this new Honda motorcycle is a superior one and has been developed in-house.
Honda is expected just to showcase this new model at the 2016 Auto Expo. It will launch this new motorcycle in the next financial year, along with its other updated models.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the Honda NAVi.
