- Rajiv completed the race in 12th position
- Teammate Senthil Kumar had to retire from the race due to a technical issue in his bike

After completing Race 1 of the Australian round of the FIM ARRC 2019 in 10th position for the first time, Idemitsu Honda Racing India rider Rajiv Sethu managed to secure a few more points in Race 2 of the championship.
In the first half of the race, Rajiv rode in the 11th position but later faced a highside during lap 6 caused by loss of traction at the rear wheel. This resulted in him losing his position to Indonesian rider Muhammad Faerozi who finished the race in 11th position whileRajiv moved down to the 12th. The Chennai-based rider managed to secure 4 points in Race 2 which tallies to 10 points for Round 2. Rajiv current overall ranking standing is 13th amongst other riders. His fasting lap time was 2:09:254 during lap 4 of the race.
On the other hand, Rajiv’s teammate Senthil Kumar had to retire from the race right after the completion on one lap as his race-spec CBR250RR faced a technical issue. After going off the track in the previous race followed by an issue with the motorcycle in this one, it was a rather tough weekend for Senthil Kumar.
The next round of FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2019 will be held at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand from 31 May to 1 June. This circuit is familiar to both riders which should show in a better result.
