Hop Electric has announced the launch of the high-speed variant of its electric scooter, Hop Leo. This variant of the electric scooter is claimed to deliver a true range of 120km. The BLDC hub electric motor is claimed to deliver a peak power of 2,200W while the torque at wheel is rated at 90Nm. The electric motor draws power from a 2.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It comes with an 850W smart charger that is claimed to deliver a 0-80 per cent charging time of 2.5 hours.
The feature list comprises LED lighting, LCD digital display, four riding modes (Eco, Power, Sport, and Reverse), and 12-degree climbing ability. Meanwhile, the suspension setup comprises telescopic front forks and a hydraulic spring-loaded rear shock absorber. Then, the braking setup includes disc brakes on both ends while the safety net comprises a combi-brake system and regenerative braking. The scooter is IP67/65 certified, making it waterproof and dustproof.
The scooter is available in five colours – Black, White, Grey, Blue, and Red. The new Hop Leo high speed will be available at the Hop showrooms starting January 2023.
