Just a fortnight ago, we told you about KTM’s new fuel-injected two stroke bikes which are slated to be sold later this year. Now, its sister company – Husqvarna – has introduced two new two-stroke bikes with fuel-injection too.
The 2018 TE 250i and the TE 300i are the first Enduro bikes ones to get this technology. Just like the KTMs, the Husqvarna also gets the Transfer Port Injection (TPI) system. While the TE 250i has been developed for the American market, the TE 300i will be sold in Europe and Australian markets. The company hasn’t disclosed any more details on these bikes, and will do so on May 30, 2017.
The company says that this new technology will change the segment for good. Husqvarna was always know for its innovation in the field of two-stroke off-road bikes. Now with fuel-injection, it will be interesting to see how the market responds. These bikes will go into production in June and deliveries will begin in July.
