Seventy Event Media Group (70 EMG), along with lifestyle channel FOX life have announced the highlights of India Bike Week (IBW) 2016. The event is scheduled to be held on the 19th and 20th of February 2016 at Vagator, Goa.
Headlining this year’s IBW is a Moto Trials Show featuring the international sensation, Dougie Lampkin. This will be IBW 2016’s main attraction and Dougie will take centre stage with his exclusive debut at IBW 2016. This year is also set to host the “Hard Enduro Challenge” which will be open for general participation from amateur motocross teams. Participants will stand a chance to win a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 75,000.
As an addition to the list of special attractions, IBW 2016 is also launching “Main Street”, which will run right through the centre of the festival. It will work as a runway for biker clubs, solo riders, and all the people of IBW to parade their attitude and their machines. Lined with bars and tents, this is the street that will have bikes revving, cameras flashing and DJs adding music to the overall theme.
Event organisers have networked with over 100 biker clubs in India to help contact and manage riders interested in taking the exciting journey up to Goa and also to ensure that the ride won’t be a lonely one. IBW marshals have been introduced, who will feature as pack leaders patrolling and guiding the stream of riders till Goa.
India Bike Week is the only festival in India that’s built exclusively around bikes and bikers across manufacturers.
