Triumph has launched the Bonneville for Rs 5.7 lakh,(ex-showroom Delhi) opening up the market for enthusiasts who cannot afford the entry level Harley-Davisdsons in India. The 865 cc parallel-twin motor of the Bonneville churns out 67bhp giving the rider enough comfort as well as power to cruise along the highways for weekend rides or tours. The Bonneville T100, the premium version of the Bonneville, will be available at Rs 6.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The classic café racer Thruxton is based on the Bonneville, churning 69bhp, it comes straight after the launch of the Continental GT café racer this week. The Indian classic motorcycle enthusiasts will be happily spoilt for choice.The Bonneville series along with the Thruxton is being offered through the CKD route to keep the pricing affordable as well as competitive for the Indian market.
