Ducati India has listed a new model of its flagship ADV range and it is the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour. The model has been recently added to the Italian marquee’s official website for India and its launch is around the corner.
The new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour looks similar to the other models in the lineup. It features a split LED headlight with the radar system in between and an adjustable transparent visor at the top. The bike gets lever guards and touring accessories as a standard fitment. The latter includes panniers and a tail rack as well.
Powering the new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is a 1,158cc, V4 liquid-cooled engine that makes 170bhp and 125Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and has a bi-directional quickshifter too. The engine is nestled in an Aluminium monocoque frame and it is suspended on electronically adjustable 50mm USD front forks and a rear shock, also adjustable. The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour’s brakes include dual 330mm front and a single 265mm rear disc with ABS. It rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel wrapped in a 120/70 front and 170/60 rear tyres, respectively.
The list of electronic rider aids on the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is quite extensive. It gets riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, cornering lights, heated grips, cruise control, smartphone connectivity, navigation, tyre pressure monitoring system, and more. All these features can be monitored on the 6.5-inch TFT screen.
Ducati India has scheduled the official launch of the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour sometime in early 2024. It will rival the BMW R 1250 GS, BMW S 1000 XR, Honda Africa Twin and a few other names.
