Honda recently announced that it could launch the Forza 300 in India sometime in 2021 after it delivered 4 test units in the country. The scooter is already available in international markets and before it arrives in India, you can ogle at the Forza 300 in this detailed image gallery.
The Forza 300 has a maxi-scooter styling with sharp creases and edges all around its bodywork. And while it looks massive in size, the scooter weighs only 182kg.
It gets a distinctive-looking full-LED headlamp up front and turn signals integrated in the fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors. The tail lamp gets uniquely-designed LED lighting as well.
In terms of features, the Honda Forza 300 comes with an electronically adjustable windscreen that can be operated using the switchgear. The scooter also offers traction control as standard that can be turned off completely.
The instrument cluster replicates that of a car and consists of a blue-backlit LCD flanked by analogue pods on either side. The display shows a host of information like fuel gauge, engine temperature, ambient temperature, and battery voltage along with basic information.
The Forza 300 boasts of a massive seat, which can be opened via the switch on the front apron. It is large enough to hold two full-face helmets and houses a 11.5-litre fuel tank. And Honda claims a fuel-efficiency of 31kmpl for the Forza 300.
Powering the Honda Forza 300 is a 279cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 24.8bhp and 27.2Nm. It comes mated to a CVT gearbox.
In terms of cycle parts, the scooter rides on a 15-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel with 33mm telescopic forks up front and a pair of shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a 256mm front disc and 240mm rear disc along with dual-channel ABS.
We expect Honda to price the Forza 300 between Rs 2.5 lakhs to Rs 3 lakhs (ex-showroom) and retail it at its Big Wing showrooms across the country.
