- Honda CB350 introduced in Australia
- Similar to the model sold in India
- Will rival Royal Enfield Classic 350
Honda has introduced the H’ness CB350 or the GB350, as it is known overseas, in the Australian market. The motorcycle is made in India and then exported down south and to other markets like Japan as well.
Now, the Honda GB350’s pricing has not yet been announced but it is expected to be listed soon. That said, apart from the name, the motorcycle is the same as the model sold in India. So, it uses a 348cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.78bhp and 30Nm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. That said, it rides on a 19/18-inch alloy wheel combo with telescopic forks and dual springs taking care of suspension duties.
Even the design elements are the same. Deriving its styling from the previous CB models, the GB350 gets a retro design with circular components like mirrors, headlamp and turn signals. It also comes adorned with chrome elements to accentuate its look. On the flip side, the Honda CB350 lists modern features like traction control, Honda Smartphone Voice Control, a USB charging port, a semi-digital instrument cluster and ABS as standard.
