The Honda Dio has been one of the highest-selling scooters in India and is only second to its ever-popular sibling- the Activa in the manufacturer’s scooter range.
Now, it has been introduced in the Philippines market at PHP 49,900 which converts to Rs 76,499. In comparison, the scooter costs Rs 63,273 in India. The Dio sold in the South East Asian market is made in India and remains identical to the model sold here. It comes powered by a 109cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8bhp and 8.91 Nm. In terms of features, the Honda Dio gets an LED DRL and LED headlamp. It also gets a 14.4L under-seat storage as well as two hooks in the front.
While the Dio is being offered in three dual-tone colours in the Philippines- Blue/White, Red/Grey and Orange/Grey, it is available in five snazzier paint schemes in India. You can opt for the dual-tone red/black blue/black and golden/black colours, the matte grey paint that comes with golden wheels, or the Repsol Edition
