The 2021 Ducati Scrambler range was revealed during the second episode of the Ducati World Première web series. The updated Scrambler 800 series will arrive in India, although the company is yet to announce a launch timeline. While the details are scarce, we expect the updated Scrambler line-up to arrive in Indian in 2021.
The 2021, 800cc Scrambler range comprises of four models – Icon, Icon Dark, Desert Sled, and the new Nightshift. The new Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is equipped with a straight and narrow handlebar, cafè-racer mirrors, and Full Throttle style number plates.
The Ducati Scrambler Icon witnesses the addition of the sporty Ducati Red tank colour scheme, alongside the classic Ducati Scrambler yellow with black frame and black seat. The Scrambler Desert Sled, too, has received a new 'Sparking Blue' livery that features red and white details on the fuel tank and mudguards, and gold rims. The new colour on the Desert Sled is a tribute to the Enduro bikes of the ‘80s.
The complete Scrambler (800) range is powered by a Euro5-compliant 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine that makes 72bhp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
