Triumph Motorcycles will reveal the India-bound Speed Twin on June 1, 2021. The company has posted the teaser video for this upcoming model, giving a brief glimpse at its design.
The teaser video gives a brief look at the upcoming model’s silhouette along with the round headlight, a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster, bar-end mounted mirrors, and a ribbed design for the passenger seat. The side panels will feature the Speed Twin logo.
The teaser video also gives a glimpse at the hardware, although the front suspension setup isn’t clearly visible. The old model, for reference, used telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs. The braking tasks will be handled by twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back.
The details about the mechanical specifications aren’t available yet. The BS4 model, for reference, used a 1,200cc, twin-cylinder engine that produced 96bhp at 6,750rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 4,950rpm.
The Indian launch details for the 2021 Triumph Speed Twin are not available yet, although we could see the motorcycle on our shores soon after its global debut.
