- 2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 available in three variants internationally
- Euro5-compliant model makes same power and torque as its predecessor
- India launch details unavailable yet
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, Ducati has revealed the Model Year 2022 Hypermotard 950 range. The latest model range gets an updated motor that complies with the Euro5 emission regulations. The 2022 range continues to use a 937cc Ducati Testastretta 11-degree V-twin-cylinder engine that delivers 112.4bhp at 9,000rpm and 96Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. Interestingly, the power and torque output remain unchanged with the transition to Euro5 homologation.
In terms of variants, Ducati will offer the 2022 Hypermotard range in three versions – Hypermotard 950, Hypermotard 950 RVE, and Hypermotard 950 SP. All three variants will feature identical mechanical specifications. The design, too, remains similar for all three models. Thus, the 2022 Hypermotard 950 range features a twin under-seat exhaust setup, minimal bodywork, a trellis frame, a trellis sub-frame, a wide handlebar, and a flat seat.
While the design is similar, the three variants are distinguished through their respective graphics. The standard Hypermotard 950 comes in Ducati Red colour scheme while the Hypermotard 950 RVE is characterised by its “Graffiti” livery. The Hypermotard 950 SP, which is the top of the range variant, gets the new “SP” colour along with higher-spec Ohlins suspension with increased travel, Marchesini forged wheels, and standard Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO.
The 2022 model range will be available for purchase in Ducati network dealers in the international markets starting from June 2021. The new range is likely to arrive in India, although the launch details for our market are not available at the moment.
