- Kawasaki ZX-6R updated for 2022
- Gets new colours
- Is ikely to be launched in India early next year
Kawasaki has taken the wraps off the 2022 Ninja ZX-6R for international markets. And as part of the updates, the supersport motorcycle gets two new colour schemes.
There is the Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black option. This is the same colour scheme available with the 2022 Ninja ZX-10R. Similar to the 10R, it gets red highlights on the bodywork and rims and bold ‘6R’ graphics on the fairing. Kawasaki is also offering the ZX-6R in a Twilight Blue with Diablo Black paint that comes with neon yellow pinstripes on the fairing and rims.
However, apart from these changes, the Kawasaki ZX-6R remains the same as before. It comes powered by a 636cc, inline-four cylinder engine that churns out 128.2bhp. The list of features includes traction control, power modes and a quickshifter for upshifts. It also gets full-LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp, and turn signals.
With the 2022 model expected to hit international showrooms soon, we can expect Kawasaki to launch the new ZX-6R in India sometime next year. It is unlikely to receive a big bump in pricing over the previous model.
