- 2022 KTM 390 ADV breaks cover
- Gets electronic and cosmetic update
- Is likely to be launched in India by early 2022
KTM has pulled the covers off the 2022 390 Adventure. The motorcycle, which will be available in international markets from this month is likely to be launched in India early next year.
So, what’s new? To begin with, the most prominent change is the addition of new colour options. KTM is really going for the orange and blue combo, which also features a hint of white, for the last couple of years- first starting off with the mighty SuperDuke 1290 R. The colour scheme has now trickled down to the 2022 390 Adventure. Besides this, the Royal Enfield Himalayan rival is also offered in grey and orange; somewhat similar to the 250 Adventure we have in India.
That said, it's not just fun colours for 2022 as KTM has also upped the ante by offering Off-Road and Street traction control on the 390 Adventure. The Austrian manufacturer has also claimed to have bettered the quality and robustness of the alloy wheels.
Nonetheless, the rest of the motorcycle, including its engine, suspension, and braking remain the same. With the new updates, we can expect KTM to hike the price of the 390 Adventure slightly. For reference, the current model retails at Rs 3.28 lakh, ex-showroom.
