- Makes 42.9bhp of power
- India launch likely soon
- Styling likely to remain identical to the international model
The specifications for the India-bound 2022 KTM RC390 have been leaked ahead of its launch. According to the leaked specifications, the India-spec 2022 KTM RC390 will retain the 373.27cc motor that will produce 32kW or 42.9bhp of power at 9,000rpm.
The motorcycle has been listed on the India website and it is expected to arrive in our market soon. KTM India has remained tight-lipped about its launch but we expect the 2022 RC390 to arrive soon after the 2022 390 Adventure. The latter has already started to arrive at several dealerships.
The India-bound 2022 KTM RC390 will retain the styling cues from the international-spec model. Thus, it will pack a single-pod headlight, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, updated turn indicator setup, a sharper fairing design, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, a redesigned tail section, and a side-slung exhaust. The India website currently lists adjustable front forks for the 2022 RC390. However, we may not see that feature on the Indian market.
The 2022 RC390 should carry a premium over the outgoing version’s Rs 2,77,635 (ex-showroom, Delhi) price tag.
