- Trident 660 updated for 2022
- Gets new colours
- Likely to be launched in India soon
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2022 Trident 660 for international markets. And the motorcycle is likely to be launched in our country in the coming months.
Now, the only update the Trident 660 gets is a new colour scheme as part of the new model year. This colour called the Matt Baja Orange/Matte Storm Grey will be sold alongside the previous options of Silver Ice/Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black/Silver Ice and Sapphire Black. However, other than the paint options, the Trident 660 remains the same.
It continues to come powered by a 660cc, inline-three cylinder engine that churns out 79.8bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. It benefits from a six-speed gearbox with an assist and a slipper clutch as standard. That said, the Trident is also equipped with decent tech like the two ride modes, Bluetooth instrument cluster and full-LED lighting as well. As for rivals, it has the Kawasaki Z650 and the Honda CB650R in India.
