- Gets a new yellow paint option
- No changes to design or specifications
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
Benelli has revealed its 2023 line-up for the international markets and the list comprises the company’s quarter-litre adventure tourer motorcycle, the TRK 251. This motorcycle is already available in the Indian market and the Chinese-owned Italian manufacturer offers the existing iteration of the TRK 251 in three colours – white, grey, and black.
The 2023 version gets an updated colour palette and it now includes a new yellow colour, along with the existing ones. The changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades in the form of the new paint option. The styling remains unchanged and the 2023 Benelli TRK 251 continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, a semi-fairing, tall windscreen, split-style seats, side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels on both ends.
The motorcycle already complies with the newest emission norms and thus, the mechanical specifications remain unaltered. The 2023 TRK 251 continues to use the 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a double overhead camshaft timing system and electronic fuel injection tech. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 25.8bhp at 9,250rpm and a peak torque output of 21.1Nm at 8,000rpm.
The hardware, too, remains unchanged and the 2023 iteration of the adventure tourer continues to use a steel tube trellis frame. The suspension tasks are handled by 41mm upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking system comprises a single 280mm disc at the front and a 240mm single rotor at the back while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS as standard.
The Indian launch details of the 2023 Benelli TRK 251 are not available yet. However, we expect to see this KTM 250 Adventure rival in our market in the first half of 2023.
