- Both variants get new paint schemes
- Mechanical specifications remain unchanged
- India launch expected soon
Benelli has taken the wraps off the 2023 edition of its TRK 502 adventure tourer twins at the ongoing EICMA show. For the new model year, the TRK 502 and the TRK 502X have received subtle visual changes while remaining mechanically unchanged.
First up, both bikes will now be available in new colour options; white, blue, yellow and anthracite grey for the X trim; and white, blue, glossy forest green, and anthracite grey for the standard iteration. The refreshed colour palette is accompanied by a new set of decals on both variants. Other minor changes in the bikes include new black knuckle guards, a tweaked design for the rear view mirrors, and new hand grips.
The TRK 502 standard and X continue to be powered by a 500cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine that produces 46.8bhp and 46Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Most of the hardware is also identical on both variants with the only major difference being in their wheel sizes and construction. While the standard model gets 17-inch alloys at both ends, the X trim sports a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination. As a result, at 220mm, the latter boasts 30mm more ground clearance than the former.
The 2023 editions of the Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X are expected to arrive in India soon which might also result in a hike in their prices. At present, the standard version costs Rs 5.59 lakh while the X trim is pegged at Rs 6.19 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
