Suzuki has unveiled the 2023 iteration of the Hayabusa for the international markets and the motorcycle should be available in India very soon. The changes to the 2023 iteration are limited to cosmetic upgrades and here we explain all the details about the motorcycle.
New colours
The changes to the 2023 iteration are limited to colour upgrades. The motorcycle is available in three colours – Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Thunder Gray with Candy Daring Red, and Pearl Brilliant White with Pearl Vigor Blue.
The Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black theme features a stealthy look with an all-black finish. Whereas the other two colours use contrasting shades around the fairing, seat cowl, and the rear panel. Each scheme features the iconic Hayabusa Kanji symbols and name logos. We expect to see all paint options in the Indian market.
Design
The design remains unaltered and the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa retains a single-pod headlight at the front, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, muscular fuel tank, and twin-sided exhausts. The optional accessories include the pillion-seat cowl.
Specifications
The mechanical specifications retain the 1,340cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that makes 188bhp and 150Nm of peak torque. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter.
Features
The feature list remains unchanged and the 2023 Hayabusa retains six-axis IMU, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, five riding modes, launch control, and cruise control. It also packs traction control system, engine brake control, anti-lift control, low RPM assist function, an active speed limiter, and hill/slope control. Other features include full-LED lighting and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Expected India launch and Price
The 2023 iteration of the motorcycle is already available in the international markets. We expect it to arrive in India very soon. Do note that the Hayabusa is currently listed as sold-out on Suzuki Motorcycle India’s website.
